Regional Tee Times

Tee times for the Watseka Class 1A girls golf regional at Shewami GC have been released.  All girls will start from the #1 tee, with the first group going out at 9:00.

U-High will golf with GCMS, Central Catholic and El Paso - Gridley as follows:

Regional Assignments Posted @ IHSA.org

The IHSA has assigned the U-High Girls Golf team to the Watseka Regional to be contested @ the Shewami Country Club in Watseka on Wenesday, October 5. The top three teams from this regional advance to the Kankakee Bishop Mac Sectional at Oak Springs Golf Club in St. Anne on Monday, October 10.

Corn Belt Conference Tourney Info

This 2011 Corn Belt Conference golf Tournament will once again be contested at the Railside Golf Course in Gibson City, Illinois. The shot-gun start will begin at approximately 9:00 am.

JV Match @ Decatur CANCELED

The JV match with Decatur Eisenhower tentatively schedule for tonight has been canceled due to a lack of players for Eisenhower.  JV girls should report to ISU /Weibring Golf Course after scholl for short game practice.

JV Match Added to the Schedule

We have added a JV match on Monday, September 12, at ISU / Weibring Golf Course with Central Catholic.  The girls will tee of on the BACK 9 at 4:00.

Bake Sale Monday, Sept. 12

The UHigh Girls Golf Team will host a "BAKE SALE" on Monday, September 12th from 11am to 1pm.  We ask that each of the girls bring 2 to 3 "batches" of their favorite treats. If making cookies, please put 3 in a baggy; just an example.  Pies, cookies, cakes, snack mixes, dog chow are just a few ideas.  Proceeds go to the girls golf team.

2011 Girls Golf Schedule

Fall Player/Parent Meeting

The Fall Sports Meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 8 at 6:00pm in Stroud Auditorium, with a team meeting to follow.  Any girl interested in participating on the 2011 U-High girls golf team (and at least one of her parents/guardians) should attend this meeting.  Contact Coach Dennis if you cannot attend this meeting.

Girls Golf Summer Swings Program

All girls interested in golf at U-High can meet and play with Coach Greg Dennis and get back into the swing of the game before tryouts! Coach Dennis will be playing at ISU's Weibring Golf Club on July 26th and 28th at 2:00 pm. You do not need to reserve a spot and the only cost is the course fees at the club. Students can choose a 9 or 18 hole round and should meet at the clubhouse at 1:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Dennis directly at (309) 212-2167.
