Please note that a new link to the IHSA post-season information for Class 2A Girls Golf has been added to the right-hand column.

According to the IHSA website, we are assigned to the Champaign Central Regional at the UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS - BLUE COURSE in Savor/Champaign along with Bloomington, Champaign Centennial, Champaign Central, Charleston, Decatur Eisenhower, Lincoln, Mahomet-Seymour, Mattoon, Mt. Zion, Normal West, and Normal Community.

Our regional is assigned to the Pekin Sectional, which will be held at LICK CREEK GC in Pekin. The regionals from Edwardsville, Mascoutah, and Galesburg also feed into our Sectional.

Tuesday, September 21 - Varsity Results

Due to severe lightning, the triangular match with Peoria Notre Dame and Galesburg was not completed tonight.

Monday, September 20 - Varsity Results

The Lady Pioneers posted their lowest 9-hole total of the season in claiming first place in the 4-team match.  Ashely Beverage posted a career low 39 to claim medalist honors, followed closely be Sheinerra Gerongay with a 40.  Congrats girls!

Girls Capture 14th Consecutive Intercity Title

Congratulations to the U-High Girls Golf Team on their stellar play in route to caputuring first place in the 2010 Intercity Golf Tournament.  U-High teams have won 14 straight Intercity titles, failing to win only in the tourney's inaugural season, 1996.  Sophomore Sheinnera Gerongay carded a career-best 76 to claim individual medalist honors and the Pioneers enjoyed their best round of the season, shaving 15 strokes off their previous low team total.  For more information on this year's tournament, check out the article from The Pantagraph.
